Online, after school

A tutor near you in Sharjah

Parents looking for a tutor near me in Sharjah are often in Al Nahda, Muwaileh, Al Majaz or Al Khan, and they want the school's own book taught online after the last bell.

The courses Sharjah families actually bring

Sharjah's secondary schools do not sit on one board, and we do not pretend they do. Wesgreen's current secondary page identifies Pearson Edexcel for IGCSE Maths, English and Science, so a Wesgreen student is not handed a Cambridge book for those subjects unless that is truly their course. Sharjah English School publishes GCSE or IGCSE and then A Level, and we match the board on the student's subject rather than assuming Cambridge for every paper. Scholars International Academy offers IGCSE and, in its published post-16 pathway, Edexcel A Level Maths and sciences. We confirm the year with the family.

Delhi Private School, Sharjah follows CBSE, so those lessons follow the class textbook. The International School of Choueifat – Sharjah teaches the SABIS sequence and prepares students for more than one external route. We follow the point the school is on, and we do not assume every ISC-Sharjah student sits the same external paper. Across the city, Grade 6 is the start of what we teach. IGCSE and A Level are the exam courses the school has entered. They are not Grade 6 courses.

Evenings in Sharjah

Sharjah is on Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A 6 pm lesson in Sharjah is 6 pm in Dubai and Ajman, and 5 pm in Riyadh. Traffic across Al Wahda or out to Muwaileh is the reason many families would rather not add a tutoring commute. The call removes that trip. Headphones help if the flat is busy, and a phone is enough if the video is clear.

Book the free diagnostic with the school name and one chapter. Al Nahda families sometimes have one child on a British course and another on CBSE. Those are two lessons. We will not merge them into one lesson. After the call, if you want to continue, the invoice arrives before the paid lesson is fixed in the week.

Dirham prices, and the note after class

Sharjah uses the same two dirham prices as the rest of the UAE. AED 50 is the expert teacher. AED 99 is the Head of Academy. Both are one student and one teacher on a live call. The diagnostic is not one of those lessons, and it is not billed.

The note after a paid lesson names the chapter in the words of the book, says whether the short practice was finished, and gives one next step. It stays with your family unless you choose to show it to the school. We are not part of any Sharjah school,

Questions from families here

Those names tell us where your evening is, not where we drive. The lesson is online, in English, on Sharjah's Gulf time. Your child joins from home.

If the school entered Pearson for Maths, English or Science, we teach that course. Cambridge is only used when it is the book the student actually has.

They each need their own hour, even if they are in the same class, because the lesson is one to one. You can book both on the same evening if the times are free.

AED 50 with an expert teacher, or AED 99 with the Head of Academy, per lesson. The first 20-minute conversation is free, and a paid lesson is invoiced only after you decide to continue.
