Questions parents ask
Practical answers on booking, devices, timezones and prices. Each subject page keeps its own questions as well.
The questions below are the ones parents ask before the first call: how the diagnostic works, what a lesson costs, which grades we teach, and what happens after the hour. Subject pages, city pages and level pages keep their own questions, written for that course or that city. If your question is about a book, start with the subject page. If it is about the clock where you live, start with the city page.
Lessons are one to one and in English, from Grade 6 upward. An expert teacher is AED 50. The Head of Academy is AED 99. Other currencies are the published amounts on the pricing page. We do not visit the house. Dubai and Muscat are UTC+4. Riyadh, Doha, Manama and Kuwait City are UTC+3. Jakarta is UTC+7 and Bali is UTC+8. The booking page is the way to start.
If the answer you need is about a particular city, open that city's page. The questions there use the local clock and the local price. If the answer is about a subject, open the subject page. The questions there name the topics in plain words. This page is the general set, for a parent who has not chosen a page yet.
From this questions page, open the booking form and send the school, the grade and the subject. We use that note for a WhatsApp call of about 20 minutes, and the call is not charged. If you continue, the invoice goes out before the first paid lesson is written into the week.
This questions page points to two one-to-one prices: AED 50 with an expert teacher and AED 99 with the Head of Academy. The pricing page lists those same two lessons in the other published currencies.
The offer described in these questions runs from Grade 6 through the A Level and IB Diploma years. Middle school, IGCSE, O Level, CBSE and FBISE each have a longer page of their own, and primary years are not part of the offer.
A family reading these questions should plan for a live video lesson in English. We do not travel to the house. The hour is after school, on Gulf time in Dubai and Sharjah, one hour earlier in Riyadh, and later in Jakarta.
Before you write from this questions page, keep the school name, the grade, the subject, and the chapter that is stuck nearby. A photo of the book cover or the last test can travel with the WhatsApp note.
After a lesson arranged from the details on this page, the same WhatsApp thread carries a short note: what was taught, whether the practice was done, and the next step. It stays a family record rather than a report from the school.
