IB tutoring
The IB Diploma is a different course from Cambridge A Level, even in the same grades. This page is for students whose school has entered them for IB Maths or an IB science. Tell us the subject and whether it is the standard or higher route the school uses. We teach that route, not a neighbouring A Level book.
What we teach
Maths covers algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics in the language of the IB course the student is taking. Physics covers mechanics, waves, electricity and fields. Chemistry covers structure, bonding, energetics and organic chemistry. Biology covers molecules, cells, genetics and ecology.
Internal assessments and the extended essay are school tasks. We can help a student understand the science or the maths inside them. We do not write the work for them.
How booking works
Lessons are one to one and live. The diagnostic is 20 minutes and free. After it, an expert teacher is AED 50 a lesson and the Head of Academy is AED 99. Say your city so the time is written in your timezone.
Subjects and topics
Maths
One of four courses: Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches, or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation, each at standard level or higher level. Standard level is the shorter route. Higher level goes further. Students sitting exams in 2026 or 2027 follow the current courses. We do not write the exploration.
Sciences
Physics, Chemistry or Biology, booked as the subject named on the school timetable.
What a lesson costs
Lessons are one to one. An expert teacher is AED 50 a lesson. The Head of Academy is AED 99 a lesson. The pricing page shows those two lessons in SAR, BHD, QAR, KWD, OMR, ringgit, Singapore dollars and rupiah. The 20-minute diagnostic is a free conversation, and a paid lesson is placed on the calendar only after you have seen the invoice and agreed the hour. Tell us the city so the time is written on your clock: Gulf time for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Muscat, Arabia time for Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Manama and Kuwait, and the later clocks for Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta and Bali. Maths and Physics can be with the Head of Academy. Other subjects are confirmed on the diagnostic if a teacher is free for that book.
Practical questions
Diploma students in Grades 11 and 12 whose school entered them for IB Maths or an IB science. A Level students should use the A Level page.
IB lessons are one to one, live on video, in English. We agree the hour in your timezone after school, and a second student is not added to the same IB call.
IB tuition is AED 50 with an expert teacher and AED 99 with the Head of Academy. The pricing page shows the other currencies for that same IB lesson. The diagnostic before the first paid IB lesson is free.
Send the school, the grade, the subject, and a photo of the chapter if you have one. For IB, the book matters more than the timetable label.
For a test on this IB page, we use past questions in the style of that paper, a timer, and the mark scheme, so the student sees what earns the point.
Book IB from the booking page and name IB in the note. It opens WhatsApp, and email is there if WhatsApp does not open. A paid IB lesson is invoiced before it is placed on the calendar.
